General Instructions
- Always program existing/original keys first, then add new keys. If a new key is programmed first, the original keys may stop working and cannot be re-registered.
- Important: Before starting programming, ensure the column lock is engaged — turn the ignition OFF and open the driver’s door. Verify the lock is engaged, then proceed.
- BCM's with known software issue: 284B1-3ZP0A, 284B1-4CB0A, 284B1-4CB1A, 284B1-4CB2A, 284B1-4CB3A, 284B1-4CB4A, 284B1-4CB5A, 284B1-4CE1A.
Emergency Key Spot
The emergency spot is located in the start/stop button. When programming, hold the key against it.
