Step-by-Step:
- Close and lock all doors (using the driver’s door lock switch).
- Insert the key into the ignition and remove it 6 times within 10 seconds.
- Do it rapidly — ignition position does not matter.
- The hazard lights will flash twice to indicate you’ve entered programming mode.
- If they don't flash, restart from Step 1.
- Insert the key again and turn it to the ACC position (not ON).
- Press any button on the first remote (within 5 seconds).
- Hazard lights should flash once to confirm.
- To program additional remotes:
- Press a button on each remote within 5 seconds of the previous one.
- Max: typically up to 4 remotes.
- Turn ignition OFF and remove the key.
- Open the driver’s door to exit programming mode.
