Infiniti FX 2007 Smart Key

• Programming the key requires a pin code, but it can be generated from BCM or glovebox sticker.
• Remote functions are programmed separately from the immobilizer. Remote programming does not require pin code.
• Once you’ve used the PIN to unlock the steering column, you can code new keys by cycling them in the ignition. Make sure the key is inserted the correct way—fully pushing the plastic remote head into the ignition slot (butterfly). When you turn the key on and off, the red immobilizer LED will flash five times, confirming that the transponder is being coded, even if a diagnostic tester shows an error.
• Service light reset: Press and hold the trip meter button, switch the ignition on, and wait for the oil service value to flash 5 times. Release the button, press it again until the display shows 12500, then wait 5 seconds and release.
