Decoding Tips
- HU101 lock has 8 spaces and 5 depths.
- Although the HU101 lock has 8 spaces and 5 depths, a Lishi with 10 cuts can be used.
- To prevent scratching the door handle, the Lishi cutout version is recommended.
- The same eight cuts on both sides of the key.
- To decode the lock read in the SAME direction as it was picked.
- Picking sequence for left hand drive is to fully set wafers 2, 3, 6, and 7 before wafers 1, 4, 5 and 8.
- Adjacent cuts must be no more than 2 depths difference.
- No keys contain a depth #1 in the last or the first positions.
