- The number of buttons on the key does not affect the programmability of the key.
- If AKL situation, use the tester to force the ignition on and program a key by holding it to the START button. Flashing Green = Ignition FORCED ON diagnostically - Flashing Orange = Accessories FORCED ON diagnostically

- The lock has 8 spaces and 5 depths.
- The same eight cuts on both sides of the key.
- Adjacent waffles are odd-even or even-odd.
- To decode the lock read in the SAME direction as it was picked.
- Picking requires light to medium tension.
